سلام علیکم everyone!
We did it! For a while it didn’t seem possible with Mr. Mazhar’s hectic work schedule and fully booked flight schedules but we managed to get away from the grind for, what Bridget Jones classified as, a “mini-break” 😉 Even though it was short, it was very sweet to spend time and celebrate Eid ul Adha with Mazhar’s side of the family. Lots of catching up, staying up, sight-seeing and eating out later, it also feels good to be back home. And I have some wonderful recipes to share with you from my trip but first I want to share my vacation highlights with you.
I’m impressed with Doha, Qatar. It’s an up and coming city with lots of amazing sights, modern mixed in with their heritage. Doha has a lot of infrastructure and developmental projects underway and promises to be a city to rival it’s middle eastern neighbors. You can see the amazing skyline at Doha Corniche in the caption photo. Take a look at the pictures I took of the other amazing sights :). I’ll be back with my cooking adventures tomorrow, اِن شأاللّة. Till then enjoy and have a nice day!
And last but not the least….
